Meet Cheryl

Cheryl has been in the fitness and dance industry for 30 years, working with clients all over the world, including many celebrities to help them reach optimum performance both in the gym, on stage and in life.

Having to deal with her own personal weight loss battle after breaking her pelvis and gaining 6 stone, she understands the ups and downs of the weight loss journey, the dedication and patience it takes to get the results you want

Cheryl is now the official personal trainer for MIss Manchester and MIss England - the countries only entry into MIss World. She believes in working from the inside out. Get the engine running right and the body will follow.

Cheryl believes in empowering women to feel the best possible version of themselves. Fitness for Cheryl is about building confidence and a CAN DO attitude. After having to learn to walk again, she believes anything is possible if you put your mind to it! Her favourite workouts are functional and HIIT training creating the afterburn effect.

In her spare time she is kept busy running around after her kids and a cheat night with a takeaway once in awhile with her friends. Life is about balance.

What’s your fitness story? Do you do it for a hobby/just job? Any motivational story?

Working out is a major part of my life. It keeps me young and full of energy. At the age of 48, I have never felt so fit and healthy. I try to work out at least 2 times a week and love to get involved with my clients workouts . MY weightloss journey was long and arduous, but my personal trainer kept me on track and motivated when I felt like giving up.

How do you motivate someone to join personal training and work hard?

I try to make sessions with me fun and educational! When you feel like you can no longer go on I will try to find something that will give you the kick start that you need, whether it be your wedding, kids, bikini or just that dress that has been hanging in your wardrobe for a while!
