What is personal training?
Personal Training is a private workout on a 1:1 / 2:1 basis with a qualified fitness professional. Working alongside a Personal Trainer at Fierce Fit enables you to develop a comprehensive personal fitness programme to meet your goals. Through safe and professional exercise prescription and instruction you are able to improve your fitness levels and learn new skills. Our professions are able to tailor exercises to suit your levels of fitness and ability.

We aim to enhance our client’s lives long term and don’t work on a quick fix.
Why should I choose a female only service instead of a gym?
We take the time to get to know you; your lifestyle and how we can best support you to achieve your goals. We focus on improving your confidence, self-esteem and motivation. We aim to enhance our client’s lives long term and don’t work on a quick fix.
Do I need to be fit and healthy already?
When starting Personal Training with us you will need to complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ). This allows us to understand more about your current health status and if external input from other health professionals is required. In terms of fitness, we assess all our new client’s fitness levels and through testing will understand your baseline fitness status. We will create a training programme to suit your current fitness levels and together create realistic and challenging goals.
Who do you commonly see?
We see so many different women, all with different goals and the age range varies. Women between the ages of 25 and 45 seem to more commonly come to us, however we do have clients younger and older.
Am I suitable?
Yes! If you want to make a change, maintain your levels of fitness or simply just get into sport then you are 100% suitable. If you want our help, we are happy to support you.
Am I too old?
We believe all women are entitled to a personal trainer. If you don’t feel too old, we won’t think you’re too old!
Can you help me with my diet?
Yes. Where we think it is needed we can give you a dietary plan or just some direction as to what foods to eat.
I am recovering from an injury, can I still have training?
We work closely with our physiotherapists, massage therapists and Pilates instructors which means we can find the best service for each client. If you need a physiotherapy assessment, we can refer you to one of our therapists who will help us to understand your limitations whilst training and build up your strength again.
If you are recovering from a sports injury, we can also refer you for a sports massage which will help the healing process and allow you to make the most of our sessions.
Depending on your package, you will be able to swap 1, 2 or 4 personal training sessions per month for physio, massage or Pilates with no extra charge. To find out more about our extra services, visit /health-services/

Can I attend both one to one sessions and group classes?
As well as private 1:1 sessions, we also offer ‘bring a friend sessions’- these would be 1:2. To find out more, visit our Personal Training page.
/packages/ or come and talk to us at a free consultation.
How do I swap one of my Personal Training sessions for another Health Service?
Depending on your package, you will be able to swap 1, 2 or 4 Personal Training sessions a month for another health service – either physiotherapy, massage or Pilates.
This is done through your Personal Trainer as they will be able to discuss and advise what is best for your personal progress and refer you directly to the appropriate member of staff.
Talk to your personal trainer if you are interested in swapping a session and they will be able to help you further.
Can I attend if I’m pregnant or are there separate sessions for pregnancy?
We want you and your baby to be the healthiest you can be. We will train you as long as we can safely, adapting your sessions to meet your physical needs.
Once you have had your baby, you will need a month resting period after which we can restart your sessions. Again, these will be tailored to your needs as your body has been through an amazing but demanding journey and will need time and encouragement to get back it’s strength.
Our personal trainers are always looking for ways to improve themselves and their service, and are hoping to train further in pregnancy and postnatal fitness.
I want to get fit for my wedding, can you help me?
We work towards your goals – whatever they may be. If you want to get fit for an event such as your wedding, or work on a specific area, our Personal Training packages will help you to achieve those goals.
We can provide a tailored plan of personal training, classes and nutrition to make sure you are feeling your best on your big day and beyond! All we ask is that you work with us to make the most out of your sessions.
Group classes
What classes do you offer?
We offer a range of group sessions and classes, take a look at our class timetable for the full list: /group-classes/
How do I sign up?
To join our Fierce Fit movement and go to our Join now /group-classes/ and select Group classes.
Do you provide bootcamps?
We offer a range of packages of 1 : 1 sessions and classes that will help you achieve your goals. Although we don’t provide a ‘bootcamp’ where you can stay and complete an intense week long programme, we do hold a range of Group classes and personal training times.
If you are interested in a more intense programme, we would recommend our gold package as it includes 12 Personal Training sessions, unlimited classes and a home workout and nutrition plan every month. We find this is more successful as it promotes an on going overall lifestyle that enables you to feel healthy, confident and happy.
Remember that health and fitness is a long term lifestyle, not a quick fix. Whilst an intensive programme can be beneficial to see results faster, it should be part of a continuous development of your health and wellbeing rather than a short term fix.
